It has been months since I rode through Provence with Outfitter Bicycle Tours but there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about that journey. “Outfitters provided high-touch, personalized service when planning our guided tour to Chianti, Italy. Our guide, Bruno, was a world class rider and knew the region like his own back yard. Road support was always minutes away, whether we needed it or not. An e-bike was magically delivered to my 11-year-old daughter on day 3, when the climbs had become too difficult for her. We had wonderful service and support from Outfitters and I highly recommend them.”

I always had an idea that I wanted to go see the Tour de France once in my life. Well, I have now gone on three TdF trips with Outfitter Bicycle Tours as the experience was that good. Jamie and Joy’s low key, friendly and flexible approach made riding in the Alps an amazing experience. They did a great job of helping me determine what would maximize my experience. If I wanted an easier day, they had a suggestion to make that happen. If I wanted to try a different climb than the “recommended” route, they were able to help me make that happen. Support was great and they were there when we really needed help when we got caught in bad weather. Accommodations can be a bit tricky in the Alps during the tour, but we always stayed in lovely places that had good to great food. Overall, one of the best values you gan get for your cycling tour dollars.
