It has been months since I rode through Provence with Outfitter Bicycle Tours but there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about that journey. It has inspired me to purchase my own bike and ride every week. My journeys are not quite the same but I still love to ride and it keeps me connected to where it all began in Provence.

“Outfitters provided high-touch, personalized service when planning our guided tour to Chianti, Italy. Our guide, Bruno, was a world class rider and knew the region like his own back yard. Road support was always minutes away, whether we needed it or not. An e-bike was magically delivered to my 11-year-old daughter on day 3, when the climbs had become too difficult for her. We had wonderful service and support from Outfitters and I highly recommend them.”

“We did a relaxed bike tour around Provence, France. It was fantastic! OBT and Jamie had everything organized for us. Our self-guided tour was well mapped out, and we were able to cycle at our leisure and take in the spectacular landscape. We stopped along the way and soaked in the beautiful French countryside. I always had an idea that I wanted to go see the Tour de France once in my life. Well, I have now gone on three TdF trips with Outfitter Bicycle Tours as the experience was that good. Jamie and Joy’s low key, friendly and flexible approach made riding in the Alps an amazing experience. They did a great job of helping me determine what would maximize my experience. If I wanted an easier day, they had a suggestion to make that happen. If I wanted to try a different climb than the “recommended” route, they were able to help me make that happen. Support was great and they were there when we really needed help when we got caught in bad weather. Accommodations can be a bit tricky in the Alps during the tour, but we always stayed in lovely places that had good to great food. Overall, one of the best values you gan get for your cycling tour dollars.
