After settling in, our local guide will meet you to get you fitted on your bike, ensuring you’re ready for the journey ahead. Spend the evening strolling Beaune’s cobbled streets, exploring its charming wine bars and bistros, or simply relaxing at a café. Tonight’s dinner is yours to discover—perhaps a classic boeuf bourguignon paired with a local Pinot Noir?

Day 2

Beaune Loop Ride – Warming Up in Wine Country (30km+/20mi+)

Your first full day of cycling introduces you to the rolling vineyards and scenic backroads surrounding Beaune. Ride through vineyards and picturesque villages, soaking in the landscapes that make cycling in Burgundy such a dream. Want more time in the saddle? Add an extra 20km loop for a more adventurous ride. After a day of exploring, enjoy Beaune’s evening light show or relax with a glass of wine at a cozy local café. Dinner is on your own—perhaps a stop at a traditional Burgundian brasserie.

Day 3

Beaune to Nolay/Rully – Pedaling Through Prestigious Vineyards (45km/28mi)

Today, you’ll cycle south along the legendary Route des Grands Crus, passing through some of Burgundy’s most renowned wine villages—Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, and Puligny-Montrachet. If you’re a wine lover, these names need no introduction. As you ride, you’ll smell the rich aroma of the vineyards and have the chance to stop for tastings along the way. Arriving in Nolay or Rully, you’ll settle into your charming accommodations before enjoying an included dinner, celebrating a day well spent in wine country.

Day 4

Nolay/Rully to Sainte Sabine – A Ride Through Hidden Burgundy (40km/25mi)

Leave the vineyards behind as you venture into Burgundy’s peaceful countryside, riding through rolling hills and scenic backroads that most tourists never get the chance to see. This is where Burgundy cycling truly shines—a quiet ride through villages and valleys that feel untouched by time. Your destination is Sainte Sabine, a breathtaking spot that offers stunning views of Châteauneuf-en-Auxois, a fairy-tale hilltop village across the valley. Tonight, enjoy an included dinner and relax in this enchanting setting.

Day 5

Sainte Sabine to Dijon – A Scenic Canal Ride (50km/31mi)

Today’s ride is one of the easiest and most scenic of your trip. Follow a dedicated bike path along the Burgundy Canal, a gentle, flat route that makes for a relaxing and enjoyable journey. Along the way, charming riverside villages provide the perfect spots for a leisurely lunch. By afternoon, you’ll roll into Dijon, Burgundy’s historic capital, known for its elegant architecture, vibrant markets, and incredible gastronomy. Your included dinner tonight ensures a delightful culinary experience.

Day 6

Rest Day in Dijon – Explore & Indulge

Take a well-earned break from cycling and immerse yourself in Dijon’s rich history and food scene. Visit the Palace of the Dukes, stroll through lively markets, or indulge in a traditional mustard tasting at one of the city’s famous shops. Whether you choose to relax in a café, shop for local specialties, or explore Dijon’s cultural gems, today is all about savoring the best of Burgundy. Dinner is on your own—perhaps a Michelin-starred restaurant or a cozy wine bar?

Day 7

Dijon to Beaune – The Grand Finale (40km/25mi)

Your final day of cycling takes you back to Beaune, but not before passing through Nuits-Saint-Georges, one of Burgundy’s most famous wine towns. Stop for lunch or enjoy a last wine tasting before cruising into Beaune for your last night in this charming town. Enjoy a farewell toast at a local wine cellar or a leisurely stroll through the town’s historic streets. Dinner is on your own, so choose your favorite spot for one last taste of Burgundy’s culinary magic.

Day 8:

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before we transfer you to the train station, ready for your onward journey.
