2026 Vuelta a España Tours

- Average daily riding: From 20 miles/30km to 60 miles/100km with an average of 40 miles/65km. We always have extensions available for those wanting more challenging routes!

- Finish city: Granada
- Suggested transport: Fly into Madrid and train to Cordoba for the start. At the end, transfer back to Madrid by train from Granada.
Day 1: September 4th
Welcome to Spain!
Your adventure begins as you arrive in Cordoba. After setting up your bike, you can take a short warm-up ride before our welcome dinner and orientation.
Day 2: September 5th
Scenic Ride around Cordoba &/or Stage 14 Viewing
Ease into your Vuelta a España cycling tour with a scenic ride near town. Alternatively, we will ride to see stage 14, which finishes at the Sierra de la Pandera. After soaking in the exciting day, we'll enjoy another delicious dinner at our hotel.
Day 3: September 6th
Stage 15 Viewing
Today, the pros come to us! The stage finish is in Cordoba, and we'll be able to enjoy a morning ride in the area before the stage excitement. Dinner is on your own this evening.
Day 4: September 7th
Rest Day Ride
Today the pros take a day from racing and enjoy a "slow-paced" ride near their hotels. We'll scope out their hotels and maybe intersect with them along their ride. We've had great success in past years connecting with the riders as they take a day from racing. After a fun day we'll have dinner at the hotel.
Day 5: September 8th
Transfer to Arcos de la Frontera
From Cordoba, we head south to Arcos de la Frontera. Depending on the time, we may try to get to Cortegana for the stage 16 rollout. Dinner is included at our hotel.
Day 6: September 9th
Local Ride
Today, we have a chance to ride the beautiful hills of the area. Another incredible day capped off with a delicious hotel dinner.
Day 7: September 10th
Stage 18 Viewing – Time Trial
Experience the Vuelta a España like never before! Today's time trial ends in nearby Jerez de la Frontera! We'll have all day to enjoy a morning ride to Jerez, then watch the riders as they come in one by one from El Puerto de Santa Maria. Dinner is included back at the hotel.
Day 8: September 11th
Transfer to Granada
Today we transfer to Granada, where we will be staying at a beautiful hotel near the historic Alhambra. We'll have the perfect launching pad for local sightseeing, scenic rides, and the final stages of the Vuelta. Dinner is at the hotel this evening.
Day 9: September 12th
Stage 20 Viewing
Today's Vuelta stage finishes at Collada de Alguacil, which is a beautiful uphill ride from our hotel. Dinner is at the hotel this evening.
Day 10: September 13th
Stage 21 Viewing
Today will be a festival! The final stage starts and finishes in Granada, and we'll have perfect access. We'll have a ride option for you in the morning, then enjoy the Vuelta festivities throughout the day.
Day 11: September 14th
Adiós!
Departure day! We’ll arrange transportation to the Granada train station, where you can continue your journey. Maybe head to Madrid? Wherever you go next, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories from your Vuelta a España bike tour with Outfitter Bicycle Tours.

- Outstanding routing instructions for all rides! This includes GPS course downloads for your GPS unit, traditional cue sheet, and written prose describing each turn and the surrounding area. These methods are then supported by a roadmap.
- Your personal guides, helping you with support vehicles. On-road support will always be near. From greeting guests when they arrive to handling luggage transfers, mechanical issues, etc – our guides assist guests in every way. They also set you up on your rental bikes and can help with routing, and any other questions.

Registration: Once you are ready to register, please click on the “Book Now” above and complete the registration form. EACH tour participant will need to be included in the registration. At the end of the registration for you will be asked for a US$1,000 deposit. Once we have all registrations, we will secure all of the details of your tour – hotels, bikes, etc.
Final Payment: All payments are due 60 days prior to your tour.
Tour Packet Delivery: Once the balance is paid and approximately 30 days before your tour, we will send you a complete tour packet containing all details of your tour – accommodation information, detailed routing, a suggested packing list, maps, tourist guide, and much more!
