What Is a Self-Guided Tour?
It’s simple: you name your tour dates, we plan everything, and you ride at your own pace with your own private group. You’ll receive turn-by-turn directions via GPS, access to our RideWithGPS smartphone app, and printed cue sheets. A local guide that’ll take care of you when needed – think of them as your local connection and friend. No group members you don’t know. Just you, your family & friends, your bike, and the road ahead. We also transport your luggage between hotels, arrange lodging, and provide on-call support if needed.

Ride Independently—But Never Alone
With Outfitter Bicycle Tours, you’re always supported. From the moment you arrive to your final ride, we’ve got your back—so you can enjoy every mile of the journey. Your local guide is there, a phone call away to support you. They will also handle and/or coordinate pickups at the beginning and end of the tour, luggage transfers, and provide suggestions for meals, excursions, and other desires. We often refer to our self-guided tour guides as concierges, but think of them as your local friend.
